Das Haftklebeband certoplast 514 wird vorzugsweise für die Bandagierung von Kabelsätzen im Automobilbau eingesetzt. Durch die speziell konzipierte, glattgeschliffene Bandoberfläche erhält man einen schmutzabweisenden und dauerhaft flexibeln Kabelstrang, der im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Bandmaterialien (z.B. PVC, Zellwolle, PET-Nähvlies etc.) sehr gut gegen äußere mechanische Beanspruchungen (z.B. scharfe Kanten) geschützt wird. Durch die hohe Temperaturbeständigkeit, das extrem robuste Trägermaterial und aufgrund der ausgezeichneten Medienbeständigkeit kann certoplast 514 auch im Motorraum eingesetzt werden.
