Das Haftklebeband certoplast 516 wird vorzugsweise für die Bandagierung von Kabelsätzen im Automobilbau eingesetzt.
Durch die speziell konzipierte, glattgeschliffene Bandoberfläche erhält man einen schmutzabweisenden und dauerhaft flexiblen Kabelstrang, der im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Bandmaterialien (z.B. PVC, Zellwolle, PET-Nähvlies etc.) sehr gut gegen äußere mechanische Beanspruchungen (z.B. scharfe Kanten) geschützt wird. Durch die sehr hohe Temperaturbeständigkeit, das extrem robuste Trägermaterial und aufgrund der ausgezeichneten Medienbeständigkeit kann certoplast 516 im gesamten Fahrzeug eingesetzt werden.
