certoplast 525 ST is based on the certoplast 525 adhesive tape. In order to achieve a particularly flexible cable harness, the adhesive coating is not continuous, but is only applied to approx. 45 % of the top and bottom sides. This means that the tape does not stick to the wiring harness, but forms a flexible tube. Bonding adhesive to adhesive guarantees a very secure bond. After the spiral hose winding with 50 % overlap, the same properties are obtained as when using a corresponding double-layer tape (e.g. certoplast 525 SL). Due to the high temperature resistance of the extremely robust carrier material and its excellent media resistance, it is ideal for use in the engine compartment.
