Pressure sensitive adhesive

A term used to describe a category of tapes coated on one or both sides with a pressure sensitive adhesive. It is permanently tacky at room temperature and does not need to be activated by water, solvents or heat to adhere to a variety of different surfaces on contact. The bond strength can be increased by pressure and/or time.
